Infoplay predates biological systems, manifests within them, and extends beyond biology through artificial intelligence. This perspective reframes singularity as an intrinsic property of reality, existing here and now, rather than a distant milestone.
Traditional views often consider singularity as a near-future point marking the emergence of superintelligent AI. However, this framework limits singularity to technological progress on a timeline. We argue that singularity is better understood as Infoplay — the universal flow of information that structures reality at all levels. Infoplay exists independently of any specific substrate and represents the ongoing process of information integration and self-reflection.
